As of today we are looking forward to the children coming back to school starting in February depending if the children are in the Purple Group or the Gold Group. We may be looking at new teachers, we are definitely doing something we haven’t done before. What can you do to help make the transition go smooth?
Send your child to school on time. Doors open at 8:00 Late bell is 8:30.
Make sure they have all of their books and their computer with the charger everyday when they are in school. The weeks they are are home they have taken it home,
Limit the amount of extra things they take to school with them. Every child has a favorite toy or something. These items may get passed between the children and not cleaned of germs.
Send the children to school with a reusable water bottle with a wide lid. Staying hydrated is very important to fight any virus in Erie’s harsh winters.
Get plenty of sleep and eat great meals at home.
This year is going to be a strange an new journey for us all. The PTO is trying to support the Parents, Teachers and the Students. We are working on how to work programs into our new way of schooling. We are introducing an an Online Book Club and an Online Reading Club for the younger kids coming in December, watch for it!
On Tuesdays and Fridays food pick up is at school from 3pm to 6pm. PTO information will be available. We will still be meeting every month as well. Monthly PTO meeting are held in the Library at 3:00pm the 2nd Thursday of each month. This will also be available on zoom. Please contact [email protected] each month for a link.
